3rd Dan Black Belt

I have been training at Shotokan2000 in Leven for almost 20 years under chief instructor James Ford. Im still enjoying it even at 66 years old and plan to keep training as long as possible. I gained my 1st Dan in December 2012 , my 2nd Dan in June 2016 and my 3rd Dan in December 2019. I have learned a lot through James and other experienced instructors and thoroughly enjoyed training with them and continue to do so to this day. My experience prior to Shotokan 2000 was 2 years Tia Chi training in Fife and Edinburgh and before that I trained in Kung Fu for 6 years. I take great pleasure in coaching people in Karate and passing on my knowledge and it’s always great to see the students progressing through the gradings, gaining confidence and improving their fitness.
